How to Find Gold |

Set up
To set up your Black Magic Sluice, position your box as shown below. Position your box with the discharge end lower
than the intake, with the water flowing over the grizzly wires, Note the rocks wedged along the sides of the box, this is to
keep it in position. Test your flow with small shovel of gravel, most plus size material should pass over the grizzly. To
obtain sufficient water flow it may be necessary to construct a damn along the upper end of the box.

Operation
Easy to use, simply feed material on top deck of sluice no classification necessary. Most rocks will roll over the grizzly,
those that don't, mostly larger flat ones are simply raked off downstream with your fingers. For best recovery, breakup
all roots and clay clumps.

Clean Up
To clean up, lift the box from the stream keeping the box roughly level. Insert discharge end into bucket or tub as
applicable, fill with water and shake. Flush water into the scoop and through the grizzlies, a few more shakes and your
ready to pan out your cons! All in a few seconds.
